St. Louis Cancer Care Participates in Athena Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona
St. Louis Cancer Care was proud to participate in this week’s Athena Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, joining independent oncology practices from across the country to discuss the future of cancer care.
Athena brings together independent oncology practices with a shared commitment to advancing high-quality, patient-centered cancer care in the community setting. Through collaboration, shared resources, and the exchange of best practices, the organization helps independent practices navigate the evolving healthcare landscape while maintaining their ability to provide personalized care close to home.
During the conference, Dr. Pillot, who serves on the Athena Board, participated in a panel discussion highlighting the organization’s performance, strategic priorities, and future direction.
Carol Riley moderated a panel discussion featuring Katy Klein, focused on the effective utilization of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within oncology practices. The discussion explored the important role APPs play in expanding access to care, supporting physicians, and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Participation in organizations like Athena allows St. Louis Cancer Care to collaborate with oncology leaders nationwide, share innovative approaches to patient care, and advocate for the continued success of independent community oncology.
We are proud to contribute to these important conversations and remain committed to keeping high-quality, compassionate cancer care accessible within our community.
